What to expect

Sometimes showing up at a church for the first time can be a bit intimidating. Taking the first step into a new community can be daunting. We understand that and have taken steps to assure that you will not be pressured but rather assisted in every way possible. Your exploration of God and/or a deeper relationship with Him is our utmost priority.

What should I wear? We want you to be comfortable - so come as you are. Jeans, business casual, shorts, a dress or shirt and tie, whatever you like.

Is there a place for our kids? We offer an age appropriate program for children from birth through 12th grade at our 9:15 and 10:45am services. Creative and experienced teachers will share God's love in age appropriate classrooms. All of our teachers and nursery workers have been screened and have background checks. And we have closed circuit cameras for added security. We provide a special space for all kids to be checked in. For added convenience and peace of mind, nursery parents/guardians are provided with vibrating pagers in the event you need to be contacted during the service.

What is the music like? We have an upbeat, live band that plays a blend of contemporary worship music with an occasional hymn thrown in. The band consists of drums, bass, piano, guitars, horns, singers and sometimes a choir. Words are projected onto our two screens.

Will I be asked to give money? If you are a first time guest, we ask that the offering plate pass you by. Your being in our church is gift enough. Tithing is for those who desire to give in obedience to God's principles and who have made this church their home church and family.

What about after the service? Many of our congregation hang out following the service, either out front of our sanctuary or over at our Connections Cafe with indoor/outdoor seating. Low cost beverages, great coffees, bagels, and more are there just for you. As a first time guest you will receive a free coupon for a beverage and a treat. Click here for more information on the Cafe.

What is the overall environment like? Every time we meet we strive to be a loving, friendly, open church. Our goal is to continue building relationships with God and each other. We are not trying to create conformists to our styles or approach but rather, help people develop a relationship with God through Jesus Christ. Come and grow at your own pace. Feel free to contact us with any questions regarding a visit to LFC at office@lompocfoursquare.com

What if I want to take a test drive first? We understand that. Your test drive can happen by checking us out in the comfort of your own home. We are live online (LiveStream) during our 9:15 or 10:45 am Sunday services. However, the quality of a live and in person experience at LFC is best. That way you can also meet some of the wonderful people that call LFC their home. If you are interested in LiveStream you can find out more here.
